The other day OnLive announced a new application for the iPad, the
OnLive Desktop, which is a cloud based app that will let you run a
Windows 7 desktop on your Apple iPad.
OnLive has now released the
app and it is available to download for the iPad from the US iTunes
store, at the time of writing it only seems to be available in the US
store at the moment.
The OnLive
Desktop app will let you run a number of Windows applications on your
iPad, like Word, Excel and Powerpoint, and all the applications are run
from the cloud.
The service is free at the moment and you get 2GB of
storage, OnLive will be launching a pro version in the future which
will come with 50GB of storage and more applications they expect to
charge around $9.99 a month for the service.
