Asus to launch Transformer Prime in Malaysia on Jan 18

Asus has officially announced via its Facebook page that it will start selling Transformer Prime from January 19 in Malaysia. This quad core tablet will be priced at RM2199 for the Wi-Fi only 32 GB version and keyboard dock included.

Malaysia is one of the first countries to get this tablet in Asia, only a handful others have seen the release till now. Transformer Prime comes with Android 3.2, NVIDIA Tegra 3 quad core tablet, 1GB RAM, 10.1 inch IPS+ display, 8MP rear camera, 1.3MP front camera and Wi-Fi connectivity. Asus has already released Android 4.0 update for Prime in US, so it should not take much time to arrive in Malaysia.
